Paeloko

Paeloko is located in Waihe‘e and is the initial land base acquired by Kauahea in conjunction with Piko A‘o LLC.  It is intended to be the site upon which the learning center will be eventually be built.

 

In addition to being the future site of the Hawaiian Culture Learning Center it is currently where students, families, cultural organizations and interested individuals can come together for a hands-on experience in malama ‘āina.  Paeloko has several projects underway through the direction of Piko A‘o and Kauahea.  There is dryland kalo, medicinal plants, flowering plants, cultural uses plants, an auwai, and pond that all need tender care.
